Travel to KC

Good Morning! Last weekend I went on a trip to Kansas City, Missouri for the CEO National Pitch Competition. What an amazing experience, surrounded by entrepreneurial minds and inspiring life stories... made some great relationships and friendships while I was there. During my time there, I got the chance to participate in the Elevator Pitch Competition, and specifically pitch Live Ritually! I received useful information from keynote speakers and experienced business owners, and they have given me lots of feedback. Really looking forward to continuing and growing this brand!

Last week while having coffee with a friend, we discussed what we envision our work environment in the next few years. What I found interesting from the conversation was the importance of surrounding yourself with people that really engage, and motivate you to be your best. I have spent a lot of my life always pleasing others, which has helped me grow as a person. What I mean by this is that it has made me realize that I need to focus on what makes me happy and step back sometimes from that habit. I love my family and friends and I am always here to support them. Additionally, I need to create a balance of spending time serving others while spending time with Myself. I am confident that I will create a work environment that gives me the ability to travel, make relationships, and keep learning.

Definition for thought:

Billionaire - changing the lives of billions of people.

Question for reflection:

What do you admire from your parents?

I love reading your responses and love replying! So please leave a comment or send me an email! Have an amazing day!

For a long time people have asked me how I keep my life so simple and minimalistic. Since we're getting to know each other, I am going to pretty much explain why this is so...

  1. I have my everyday "uniform" of jeans and a basic white or black shirt with my espadrilles or converse.
  2. My room is super bare with a clean minimal wooden desk, my calendar above, just a couple books, laptop, and a lamp... then I have my tall bed with simple pillows. My whole room is a super simple color scheme of navy and white with a few gold accents .
  3. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I am really simple as a person. I am true person that really just wants to see people grow and improve in their ambitions. I love supporting my family and friends. It's crazy how life is impacted when all you want for others is good and happiness.
  4. But enough about me... lets focus on you!

If you are trying to declutter and destress, my biggest suggestion is to learn to breathe. Having the ability to control the situation whether you're stressed or tense can enable you to succeed in many different situations.

Another thing that has helped me is learning to shrug it off, or like Taylor Swift once said, "shake it off" (had too, haha)...  A great way to get over unimportant things is just by learning to accept it, and be indifferent to it. Take a step back and realize this was an experience. You've learned from it. Thank you. And Move Forward. I'm always encountering myself with people that make themselves the victim or blame a flaw on a certain past experience. Once you are able to breathe and step back, it is amazing what you realize about others.

As you can tell I really enjoy discussing this, so if you have any personal questions or comments please send them! Love reaching out to all of you!

Make Relationships

As a business major, I've constantly been advised to network, network, network... Some of us haven't come to the realization that the definition of "networking" initially means to find a purpose in someone in order to further your business. This simply means, my interpretation, you're making a connection based on their utility to you.

In our daily lives we are constantly speaking and communicating with others. My perspective is that instead of finding a purpose in a connection, make a relationship and get to know the person.

Many of us get so carried away by focusing on utility of an object that we forget the beauty of a simple relationship. We were designed to love and interact with eachother.

Take the time to say Hi, and really get to know someone, who knows if maybe you have something in common or are heading towards the same goals.

Hope you have a terrific day!
